At the Southampton WestQuay
Shopping Centre
Here at Shopmobility we
offer a good range of equipment for hire from £2.50 per day. An annual
membership fee of only £5.00 enables a reduced hire fee of £1.50 per day.
We need to register a customer only on their first visit to WestQuay Shopmobility. To enable us to do this, we must ask to view an official
form of identification showing name and address.
We have available for
hire:
* powered wheelchairs
* manual wheelchairs
* electric scooters
Other services
available:
* pre-arranged, a volunteer to assist a person in a manual wheelchair
* pre-arranged, a volunteer guiding arm for anyone who has a visual
impairment
* we have staff trained in sign language
Vehicle facilities include:
* some reserved car parking for Shopmobility customers
* a dedicated drop off point for larger vehicles that are unable to
enter the Shopmobility car park (#)
The Shopmobility reception is situated on Level 2 of the Podium Car
Park. Please follow the Shopmobility signs
Please be assured that the use of any WestQuay Shopmobility equipment is
NOT restricted. It may be used throughout the entire City Centre area of
Southampton
Please plan your visit in advance and book early, as the service is extremely popular and we do get
very busy.
We are open seven days a week.
